Sports Medicine Center for Young Athletes

In 2004, the Pediatric Orthopaedic Department developed a program in Oakland that targets young athletes who experience sports related injuries. In 2007, Children’s Orthopaedic Associates opened a second center in Walnut Creek. Both centers work exclusively with young athletes to manage, rehabilitate and prevent sports injuries. Our sports medicine specialists have extensive knowledge and experience in prevention, diagnosis and management of sports-related injuries in children and adolescents. We offer young athletes the most current and comprehensive medical care and education programming available to ensure each athlete’s quick, safe return to sports.
